It's never been hard to pirate movies, but for a long time, one collective has made it easier to watch the latest blockbusters than any other: YIFY. By focusing on speed, better quality rips and small file sizes, the group quickly grew to become the number one source for illegal movies, catering for the needs of millions of content pirates around the world. However, the YIFY name may soon fade into obscurity after it was revealed that its leader had been traced and named in a New Zealand lawsuit following a joint operation between the MPAA and its \"international affiliates.\" While many believe that its releases won't be missed, YIFY's shutdown will leave a big hole in the piracy market and have a knock-on effect on streaming services like Popcorn Time -- at least until another group steps up.

YIFY Torrents was founded by Yiftach Swery in 2010 while he was studying computer science at University of Waikato. Yiftach is an app developer, web developer and archery champion from Auckland, New Zealand. In August 2011, the YIFY brand was gaining enough traffic to warrant the launch of an official YIFY Torrents Website, although it was eventually blocked by United Kingdom authorities. A backup website yify-torrents.im was launched for users to bypass this ban.
The YIFY name continued to generate traction to the point where in 2013 'YIFY' was the most searched term on Kickass Torrents, along with other related search terms such as 'yify 720p', 'yify 2013' and 'yify 1080p'. This popularity was maintained through to 2015, where it was once again the most searched term on BitTorrent websites.
In January 2014, Yiftach announced that he was retiring from encoding and uploading, mentioning that it was 'time for a change' in his life. The website rebranded to YTS, and moved to a new domain name at yts.re. \"YTS\" is an abbreviation of \"YIFY Torrent Solutions\". Management was handed over to the existing team of staff members, and encoding was delegated to a new automated system nicknamed \"OTTO\" which would handle future encodes and uploads. Yts.re owned a company based in the United Kingdom, officially incorporated on 5 February 2015, with Yiftach taking the role as a company \"programmer\". The company was officially dissolved in February 2016. The website was reprogrammed at both the frontend and backend in February 2015, as part of a site overhaul to deal with increased traffic. The domain name was suspended by the FRNIC registry in March 2015 as a result of legal pressure, and as a result, the website moved to a new domain yts.to by 20 March 2015.
One particular imitator, YTS.AG, appeared very quickly after the shutdown of the real YIFY. The clone website was started by the same group who created a fake EZTV website. YTS.AG indexed all of the old YIFY uploads, whilst adding their own uploads under their own branding. There was immediate backlash to the imitator websites by multiple torrent index sites; RARBG and ExtraTorrent banned all YIFY/YTS imposters, while Kickass Torrents allowed them under the condition that they were uploaded under a different name. They have shifted domain names multiple times throughout their lifespan.
Yify was one of the top uploaders of movies on most torrent websites till last year, but the group died an unnatural death after its founder was threatened with a multi-million dollar lawsuit. YIFY in an AMA on Reddit/interview with TorrentFreak spoke for the first time after the shutdown about how it all started, fans, haters, movie piracy and his accomplishments.
You can browse the movies by year and quality, or just search the list. The frame rate, run time, IMDB rating, and genres are all listed on the movie details page, although there are no trailers on this proxy. There are detailed descriptions and the cast and director are also listed, but sadly there are not any related links to take your browsing further.
You might see your torrents not downloading anymore or stuck on connecting to peers. Your download speed could drop to zero. You might even see some specific errors coming from your torrent client or antivirus software. The following steps will help you resolve all these situations in no time.
Folx is a powerful download manager and torrent client in one. Just search for a file or input a URL, and Folx will download whatever file might be on the other end, be it music, video, or a book. Folx can also be up to 20 times faster than regular downloaders, since it breaks down the file in up to 20 parts and downloads them separately at the same time.
As you can see, torrents not downloading can be a problem, but with a methodical approach, you can get those files on your Mac in no time. Simply turn off the firewall and scan your Mac for viruses with CleanMyMac X, remove download limits on your torrent client, try using a high-quality torrent client like Folx to search for other torrent files, and route your traffic around your network restrictions with ClearVPN.
Below is the full list of the top ten most-visited torrent site domains at the start of the new year. The list is based on various traffic reports. Please note that this list is created as a historical record, to keep track of the popularity of these sites over time.
After well over a decade of occupying the top spots, The Pirate Bay has now dropped out of the top three. Despite some technical issues and occasional downtime, the site continues to draw a large audience.
Contrary to the above review, I believe that this card does not justifies the inclusion of fringe spells. Fringe spells were that way because they range from bad to barely average. Now, combining these spells with Torrent of Power sure is a combo, but not a particularly impressive one. Say that you add Alchemical Transmutation to your deck in hope to spend your charges on Torrent of Power: even if you happen to draw both at the same time, it is unlikely that you will need to spend all the charges just for a particular skill test, and will be left on the board with a useless Alchemical Transmutation. In other words, you will have drafted into your deck Torrent of Power (maybe instead of Unexpected Courage) and Alchemical Transmutation (instead of any card that is actually good) just to get a single boost on a single test. And if you don't draw them at the same time, they are actually useless. Worse, Alchemical Transmutation could just be sitting here, clogging you arcane slots (and if you are running Sign Magick for the sole reason of using Torrent of Power, you now have 1 additional card to find to get your combo going, and the price of this card is added to the price of the combo)! Cards that are bad alone are rarely good when put together, and when the combined use is not particularly strong it is just better to skip these cards.
In the end, I believe Torrent of Power is neither good nor bad, but mainly depends on your deck building which should probably include at least 3 different assets with charges to ensure a good versatility. if you want to draft this card, you should probably take the time to consider Guts and Unexpected Courage as well. Maybe you're going to end up running all three, maybe you're going to end up running none, but you should really weight your options depending on where your deck is going.
Reddit, 8chan, and anonymity-focused forums have threads on torrenting. Occasionally, invitations will be thrown out there for a limited time. You can also check the sites themselves periodically (some have open registrations throughout the year) or visit the r/OpenSignups subreddit.
TorLock may not as pretty as other torrent sites look, but it certainly has the edge over many famous movie torrent sites like YIFY/YTS, The Pirate Bay, LimeTorrents, etc. This YIFY alternative indexes more than 3 million torrents that contain movies, TV shows, games, and more. You can only find verified torrents in TorLock sites. Plus, it handles any DMCA takedown notices within a short time and removes the torrent links from its database.
The Pirate Bay (or TPB) has been the target of unending shutdown attempts and domain seizures over the years, none of which have been permanently successful. At the time of this writing, this rebel website enjoys an amazing Alexa ranking of 131 and is by far the most-used torrent site in the galaxy.
Users can expect a clean, easy to navigate interface, a good selection of movies, television, and video games, and one of the most professional looking presentations in an industry that sometimes seems to ooze slime.
To find out what cap is, use a broadband speed testing service (such as www.speedtest.net) to measure upload and download speeds. If you feel these aren't fast enough for your purposes, it could be time to switch to an ISP with faster speeds on offer.
Nyaa has been around for quite some time now, and it has always been considered one of the best anime torrenting websites. It has had some ups and downs in the past, but it seems to be going very strong these days.
What should also be mentioned is that AniDex is an up-and-coming website. When it comes to mainstream anime torrents on AniDex, you can usually count on a large number of seeders. Still, some relatively obscure files might take a long time to download.
Next up, we have Anime Ultime. Coming from France, this anime torrent tracker was designed by true anime fans. You will get to join a highly active community where something new happens every single day.
There are two main obstacles here. Anime Ultime is in French, even though you can easily translate it into English. The site also relies on Adobe Flash, so it might be a bit heavy on your device's resources. However, these are not problems that should stop you from visiting this excellent P2P website. 59ce067264
